Job Purpose

  • To grow and retain the company portfolio and achieve predetermined sales targets by promoting and selling our products and services in an allocated sales area and sourcing potential new customers, contacting existing customers to provide solutions for their current, growing and new needs and supporting good account management by conducting account reviews in line with the business requirements.


Principals Duties and Responsibilities (KPA’S)

  • Achieve Predetermined Sales targets through prospecting and closing sales
  • Complete, update and maintain all required administration and reporting systems e.g. Sales Ecosystem applications e.g. Solo, Vehicle Checks etc.
  • Comply to policies and procedures and the companies Code of Conduct
  • Comply to activity and sales targets
  • Attend training sessions and meetings as required (local, regional, national)
  • Locate potential business through prospecting, tele-canvassing, cold calling, attending to leads from staff members, calls and presentation to new or existing customers.
  • Undertake needs analysis by conducting thorough surveys of client premise
  • Report all findings back to the client and present a proposal, which includes a pricing structure, that describes the valid business reasons and the benefits of using our services.
  • Endeavour to gain the client’s acceptance and obtain authorization on a new service agreement.
  • Responsible for all price adjustments to client profile
  • Develop secondary decision making contact with client
  • Achievement or improvement of retention target rate
  • Complete site risk assessments for every client proposal
  • Develop service range by increasing client portfolio and identifying cross selling opportunities
  • Make every effort to encourage our existing client base to retain our services by building and maintaining professional client relationships
  • Conduct Account Reviews as required to support customer retention
  • Attend to allocated customer termination threats with the objective to retain and resign the customer
  • Ensure equipment and vehicle is maintained and clean at all times
  • Ensure the company brand, vehicle and image is protected at all times
  • Ensure the usage of the correct Personal Protective Equipment
  • Ensure company and client Health & Safety requirements are met.
  • Portray professional image in line with Corporate identity.

Qualifications and / or Experience

  • Matric/equivalent
  • Related Tertiary Education advantageous
  • Interior decorating/Horticulture
  • Business to business sales skills and experience
  • Minimum 3yrs Sales in Service industry / Industry Knowledge advantageous
  • Customer Care experience advantageous
  • Cold Calling experience advantageous
