Duties
  1. Implement operational strategies as per the company’s Strategic Business Plans
  2. Monitor and control the company’s performance and finances in accordance with the budgets approved by the Board of Directors.
  3. To ensure that all staff are effectively employed and adequately trained to perform their responsibilities and operational tasks in an ethical and responsible manner.
  4. To ensure that the products produced and sold to clients are of high quality in accordance with the company’s quality policies. To ensure that the company meets all its legal requirements, including those relating to Occupational Health and Safety.
  5. Overall responsibility for raw material selection and timely purchasing and utilization.
  6. Acquisition, maintenance and efficient utilization of the company’s physical assets.
  7. Plan and monitor progress of projects scheduled on the Business Plan’s Action Plan.
  8. Authorize all legal documents.
  9. Liaise with clients and suppliers.
  10. Prepare and sign quotations.
  11. Monitor and control the company’s Quality Management System.
  12. Establish pricing policies, estimate job costs and set contract prices.
  13. Prepare job dockets and ensure that necessary information is provided to fulfil client requirements.
  14. Monitor and control stock levels.
  15. Plan and schedule work so that clients’ expected delivery times are met.

  20. Working with the operations & customer relationship teams, ensure that staff have clearly defined deliverables, tasks and areas of responsibility and that they are appropriately motivated and trained to carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.
  21. Contribute to the development of the company’s corporate strategy and lead strategy development in the Operations Area to ensure that the company achieves its short and long-term objectives.
  22. Develop and implement all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that the Purchasing/procurement and project installation functions achieve their business objectives.
  23. Contribute to the preparation and monitor of the budget for the Operations Department to ensure that the Department has all the resources required to meet its objectives within the agreed financial parameters.
  24. Direct and control the Project Installation function to ensure that project execution is of the required standard, within agreed costs and at the right times.
  25. Maintain an effective working relationship with senior management team members to ensure that there is effective co-ordination of all company activities in support of corporate objectives.
  26. Act as the company’s main adviser on all issues relating to operational functions and keep abreast of latest developments to ensure that the Company maintains its competitive position. 
  27. Perform quality controls and monitor installation and post-installation KPI’s/SLAs.
  28. Have a deep understanding of all projects, at all times through identifying and managing cross-project dependencies internally and externally.
  29. Plan and manage projects from brief, through budgeting, planning and delivery.  Projects will range in scope, budget and team size, involving different levels of risk and complexity
  30. Anticipate consequences of actions, potential problems, or opportunities for change
  31. Adhere to project management standards, processes and good practices
  32. Provide and maintain accurate and timely project information in all project plans, communications and status reporting

  2. Review of all orders sent by store manager and finalization of orders
  3. Selection, Introduction and pricing of new products across Africa locations
