Consumer Products - FMCG/Nutrition, Hygiene and Personal Care: Production Planner From 2017-09 To 2018-08
  • Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
  • Agrees production orders to be carried over with Factory and Third Party Planning Management, considering demand and factory priorities
  • Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
  • Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
  • Represents factory on Innovation projects meetings and communicates the impact of Innovations on the SC to Site and Supply Chain Planning for input into Innovation projects.
  • Working Capital Management and align production plans to working capital targets.
  • Calculate, estimate and report potential write-offs and run-outs to the projects team
  • Manage relationship with suppliers and regularly meet suppliers to identify and manage possible constraints

Consumer Products - FMCG/ Food Manufacturing: Production Planner From 2014-08 To 2017-08
  • Plans and prepare daily, weekly, monthly production schedule and prepare products which are on promotions.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating lead times, safety stock and also stock replenishment.
  • Liaise with Procurement on BOM requirement when new products are being developed and introduced in the market
  • Updating and downloading Forecast from the JDA system
  • Responsible for monitoring the OEE and updating the PMI with the correct information from different shifts.
  • Responsible for managing 9 weekly shifts and communicate shift changes to management.
  • Manage and verify cooking yields to ensure greater product output
  • Currently responsible for planning over 63 different products which are being produced in 7 different lines whilst maintaining/ considering shelf life of each product. 
  • Communicate to the purchasing department to ensure that all Raw materials required to achieve the plan are available before in advance.
  • Plan ahead for quarterly promotions to be run effectively &smoothly within a specific given time while eliminating unnecessary overtime.
  • Update Forecast on a daily/weekly basis
  • Weekly to daily production planning and not over exceed the available capacity
  • Updating of all production figures on the PMI system i.e. graphs and reports
  • Do follow up on the plan and make sure production sticks to the plan
  • Making sure that raw, packaging materials and fillings to achieve the plan are available
  • All changes made to Production plan during the day needs to be communicated to all relevant departments via emails and in person just to make sure that the message did get across to production process control personnel.

System Engineering and Integration: Production Planner From 2006-10 To 2014-08
  • Use SAP PP module to effectively plan and distribute the production orders to supervisors
  • Control, plan and allocate component requirements to Production orders on SAP system
  • Control production capacity and backorders on SAP system
  • Ensure materials are in stock for production targets utilizing SAP system
  • Planning and liaising with Procurement and Production departments at TIS on components availability, deliveries etc. ensuring continuous maximum production output.
  • Follow up and monitor component orders placed plus flag new delivery dates with Procurement.
  • Liaise with Production Manager if capacity of orders placed can be met and give feedback to Sales and Logistics Manager.
  • Solve Production related problems (BOMs, Units of measure SAP routing and planning schedule) with Product Manager, Spec Engineering and liaise back to Logistics Manager.
  • Assist with stock takes
  • Responsible for issuing and approval of any additional components on a production order, this must be done on an hourly basis to ensure continuity of Energy production at all times and handling of breakdowns and urgent orders.
  • Assisting production/stores  in optimizing the workflow using planning scheduling including: ZPSEQ, ZRMRP and ZORB reports
  • Getting involved in the operational aspects of the business by submitting a weekly production plan to be utilized by the Production Supervisor /Manager.
  • Report incorrect quotes/BOM to Logistic /Product Manager.
