Purpose To ensure accurate sales forecasts are developed by leveraging data and statistical models to guide the decision making process, act as focal point in development, communication, and execution of product demand and supply plans, in order to meet overall financial goals. Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Analyse demand requirements and work with other stakeholders to achieve forecast accuracy and improvements. Manage supply planning database and meet the complaint/audit requirement. Manage production forecasting with central planning and manufacturers in order to identify potential problems. Coordinate freight forwarders and the manufactures to ensure compliance to customs and overseas and local logistics requirements. Maintain the product cycle and stock level to ensure sufficient supply Adjust the gap to meet the customer needs. Optimise containers and truck loads. Coordinate and maintain short and long-term forecast in conjunction with sales and marketing Work closely with warehouse to ensure on time stock arrival Collaborate with sales to create, maintain and review baseline sales forecasts for finished goods. Contribute to various New Product Development projects Prepare, report and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to all stake holders (HQ, RHQ) Highlight key variances and change forecasts accordingly Progress report on forecast and demand against set targets Required Qualifications and Experience Degree in Supply Chain Management & Logistics 5 - 7 years experience in a similar position Strong understanding of current demand planning process Knowledge of Supply Chain management Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). All at advanced level FMCG experience will be an advantage Required Competencies Quantitative and business analysis skills Project management skills A strong work-ethic Analytical skills essential Strong sense of urgency Ability to meet all deadlines and set targets In depth knowledge of supply chain processes Strong organisational ability Effective communication with all relevant parties (team player) Presentation skills Specialist within this function Customer service orientation Strategic approach to resolve challenges Problem solving skills In Depth Product and Retail Business Knowledge
